It's the Chinese New Year on Sunday the 14th of February 2010, so from everyone here at FreeTranslation.com we would like to wish you all Gong hei fat choi, written as 恭喜發財 in traditional Chinese. This loosely translates to "Congratulations and be prosperous" and is usually used as the Chinese new year greeting.

Here are some other translations of Chinese new year greetings you may hear:

Suì suì píng ān (歲歲平安) - "Everlasting peace year after year".
Nián nián yǒu yú (年年有餘) - "Surpluses and bountiful harvests every year".
